would like to explain our warranty process so we can
provide complete customer service during your first year
of home ownership. |

We provide a
pre-closing orientation and a One-Year Workmanship,
Two-Year Systems, and Ten-Year Structural Warranty after
closing. Each warranty phase is outlined below for your
reference. |

Pre-Closing Orientation
|
|
|
- Kenny Johnson Homes’ staff
accompanies you through your home before closing.
|
- A three-part form is completed
with the items to be corrected. “Cosmetic” items should
be included.
|
- Items on the list will be
completed within 30 days by the Kenny Johnson Homes’
staff or a subcontractor.
|
- You will receive a list of major
subcontractors who performed work on our home.
|
- Contact Customer
Service at 770-460-6026 should you have questions.

|
One-Year Workmanship
|
|
|
- Provide a written list of your
items during your eleventh (11th) month to
Customer Service. You may e-mail at
kjwarnty@bellsouth.net or fax to 770-460-7909 or

- Use the guidelines in the 2-10
Home Buyers Warranty book provided at contract.
|
- Should a minor problem arise, you
may contact the subcontractor directly.
|
- In case of emergencies, call 770-460-6026.
Customer Service will contact the superintendent.
An emergency is a condition that if not immediately
repaired may cause danger to the Home or its occupants.
|
- Allow approximately 60 days to
complete your one-year list.

Two-Year Systems Defect Warranty
|
|
|
- During the second year, you have
coverage on the installation of mechanical systems
(heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, and
ventilation)
|
|
|
Ten-Year Structural Defect Warranty
|
|
|
|

From
the date of closing, you have ten-year coverage for any
structural defect. |
|
|
|
Warranty Transfer |
|
|
|

Should
you sell the house during the first ten years, the
remaining life of the policy transfers to the new
homeowner. |
